The BCG Education Fund invites applications for the 2023 Donald Mosher Award, given in recognition of outstanding Colonial Virginia research. The Donald Mosher Award is an annual $500 grant established from funds donated in 2001 by Merrill Hill Mosher, CG®, in memory of her late husband.

An entry may qualify in any of three categories:
• Family genealogies beginning with a couple residing in Virginia prior to 04 July 1776.
• Studies of origins of an immigrant who settled in Virginia prior to 04 July 1776.
• A project that makes obscure or difficult previously unpublished Virginia resources that predate 04 July 1776 more available to researchers.
