The BCG Education Fund invites applications for the 2022 Donald Mosher Award, given in recognition of outstanding Colonial Virginia research. The Donald Mosher Award is an annual $500 grant established from funds donated in 2001 by Merrill Hill Mosher, CG®, in memory of her late husband.

Awards are announced and presented at the National Genealogical Society’s Family History Conference.

An entry may qualify in any of three categories:
• Family genealogies beginning with a couple residing in Virginia during the 17th or 18th century,
• Studies of origins of a 17th or 18th-century Virginia immigrant, or
• A project that makes obscure or difficult previously unpublished Virginia resources more available to researchers.
