BCG offers free webinar on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, 8:00 p.m. EST

Descendants of an early Ohio immigrant family had no idea of its origin. Cluster research brought success, using United States records as well as foreign-language records. This webinar considers what to do when no records exist on your direct line, and the family has no helpful oral history or documentation. Tracing associates who traveled together or came from the same area can break down that brick wall.

BCG’s next free monthly webinar in conjunction with Legacy Family Tree Webinars is “Uncovering Immigrant Origins Through Cluster Research” by Dana Ann Palmer, CG®, CGL℠. This webinar airs Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. eastern time (EST).

Dana Palmer, CG®, CGL(SM) has been a genealogy instructor at Sinclair Community College since 2010. She has spoken at national, state, and local genealogy events and conferences including RootsTech (2020), NGS (2020, 2018), FGS (2020, 2013), and frequently at OGS. She specializes in lineage society applications, publishing family books, and Midwestern research (specifically Ohio). She also has experience in Germany, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Dana has received numerous awards for her books and volunteer efforts. Her research has also led her to membership in lineage societies including DUP, DAR, USD 1812, and Colonial Dames (pending). She loves problem solving and tracking down elusive ancestors.

When you register before December 21st on our partner Legacy Family Tree Webinars website (https://familytreewebinars.com/webinar/uncovering-immigrant-origins-through-cluster-research/), you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. Anyone with schedule conflicts may access the webinar at no charge for one week after the broadcast on the Legacy Family Tree Webinars website.
