BCG congratulates Karen Stein Daniel, CG®, who received a first place award on November 3rd in the category “Books by a Professional / Family History” at the 2018 Texas State Genealogical Society conference held in San Antonio. Her compiled genealogy, A German Immigrant Family in 19th Century Texas, Johannes Gustav Gräter, Christian Friedrich Gräter, Gottlob Friedrich Gräter, was a culmination of several decades of research on one of Karen’s paternal German families. It was published in December 2017 by Family Heritage Publishers in Salt Lake City, Utah.
